The Gathering - North Campus

The gathering image

The Gathering is a time to meet together for dinner and Bible studies led by our pastors, elders and leaders. With student and Kids Life classes, the entire family can come and experience The Gathering. We kick-off The Gathering with a Chick-fil-A box meal on January 24th. You can purchase your meal when you register.

We will conclude The Gathering with a campus wide event featuring author, Dr. Tedd Tripp, at the Salem Campus on February 28th.

You must register for adult, student and children's classes by Wednesday, January 17th.

KIDS LIFE:

Agents in Motion (K – 5th grade): As agents-in-training, children will experience large group worship, Bible teaching, and life group activities to learn how to cause positive change in their family, friends and the world!

BIG (Birth – PreK): Preschoolers will be learning that regardless of how big they are, they can do big things with God’s help. We will be learning about loving big, listening big, helping big, thanking big and sharing big.

STUDENTS:

Middle School students are invited to join “To the One Who Conquers” study at the Salem campus, or attend one of the main classes at their campus. High School students are encouraged to choose one of the main classes.

To the One Who Conquers (Middle School): Explore the challenges, failures, and victories of the early churches from the Book of Revelation. Discover the cultural implications for that time and how this prophetic vision still applies today.

ADULT CLASSES:

The Forgotten Jesus: Take a journey back in time and a leap forward in your faith. Gain insight into Jewish customs and learn how these affect our understanding of the Bible. Discover the forgotten Jesus and a deeper relationship with him.

Parenting - Just Right: Practical spiritual advice on how to “Train up a child in the way he should go.” Raising strong godly children requires going against the flow of our ungodly culture. We will look at several areas where good intentions can easily get us off track and how to steer the right course.

How People Change: Be challenged and equipped to live out the gospel in your everyday life. Understand the underlying motivations for your actions and gain specific, practical help in changing long-standing patterns of behavior so you can grow in love for God and others.

The Hidden Truth about Your Identity in Christ: When we utter the word “Lord”, we make a subtle yet profound declaration that God is our Master and we belong to him. Explore what it means to follow Christ without hesitation---and why we as believers should consider ourselves slaves who were bought at a price.

The Monday Morning Switch: Do you switch off God on Monday mornings? It’s easy to believe in God but work like he doesn’t exist. Our work has more purpose than a paycheck and doesn’t have to be a suffering you must simply endure. Find peace, purpose and power in your work.
